PHS Dark Horse(s): Brenda and Leticia Trujillo

Brenda and Leticia Trujillo are the basketball twins of the Payson Lions Basketball team. Both girls play on the sophomore team and are excited with all the improvement they have made this season so far. Although it might be hard to tell them apart on the court, they are very different players.

“I have the hardest time telling them apart when they are on and off the court, I will catch myself calling Brenda Leticia and Leticia Brenda, they both are just so happy to be in practice every day, I just can’t help but confuse them,” said Coach Tona Graff.

Behind the PHS Talent Show 2012

To celebrate Payson High School’s 100th year anniversary students were entertained by the talents presented by their friends and fellow peers at the annual student Talent Show. While it is easy to appreciate the performances we view, sometimes we don’t recognize the ingenuity, hard work, and deeper personal  significance our classmates use to plan and practice for the show. These are the stories behind a few of the performances.
