Mrs. McMurdie is an amazing character who is another great teacher here at PHS. She teaches the infamous course titled, AP Statistics. In AP stats, the students learn to design and organize surveys and experiments, gather and analyze data numerically and graphically, and apply inferential statistics to draw conclusions for a population. One of her AP students, Tyler Johnson, has very high praise for the class saying, “Mrs. McMurdie has a way to keep everybody involved, I went into this class thinking that she was a really good teacher and so far I’m not disappointed.”

On November 24, 2015 the Lady Lions had our first game verses Juab. We had a hard time, the head coach Mrs. Fox stated, “We were a little nervous to start and didn’t shoot the ball real well, or it would have been really tight.” The ending score was 39 to 57, however we have high hopes and are trying to make it into the state play offs. Our Sophomores and JV team both played that night it was exciting and memorable because we won both games. They were fantastic games, we won by around 10 points at each game and each team worked very well as a group.
