On Thursday, April 14th the Payson Cheer team and a handful of Dance Company members met at 4 a.m at the high school and got on a bus headed to Salt Lake City. There, the teams boarded a plane to California. Each year the cheerleaders take their cheer tour at Knott’s Berry Farm and Disneyland in the Anaheim, California area. On Thursday, the cheerleaders performed on Calico Stage  Knott’s Berry Farm in the afternoon and spent the rest of the day enjoying the theme park. On Friday morning the teams took dance/cheer classes at a local dance studio. Following these classes the day was spent at Huntington Beach. Saturday and Sunday were spent at Disneyland taking classes, performing in The All Star Extravaganza, performing in the night parade, and enjoying the magic of Disney. On Monday, after enjoying the California sun for four days, the cheerleaders and dancers visited a museum in Long Beach then, flew back to Salt Lake. Senior cheerleader, Alexandra White, says “Cheer tour was a lot of fun. I’m glad I got to enjoy one last trip with my team!”
