FCCLA Puts on REd Ribbon Week

We’re highlighting FCCLA- the club that works hard and teaches people to stand up and stand out and were in charge of Red Ribbon Week. FCCLA stands for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America. Emphasize the word leaders because, really, that’s what they’re all about. Throughout the year, events like leadership conferences, school activities, and charities are what catch their eye and build them up. They’re always happy to help and even more enthusiastic when they have lots of members. “FCCLA has been a great way to improve my leadership skills and make new friends. I’m looking forward to traveling and participating in Star Events. It’s a really fun experience; come join us!” said Savannah Davies, Secretary. FCCLA made the decorations for Sadie Hawkins and are planning on doing more for our school and community. They face the future with warm courage and high hope, and want you, Payson High, to share in their lion pride.
