Lifetime Activities classes go snowshoeing

Payson High has several Physical Education classes ranging from Weight Lifting to Lifetime Activities. Lifetime Activities classes usually participate in fun activities all throughout the year and recently, equipped with their coats and gloves, went snowshoeing up Payson Canyon. Snowshoeing is a low-impact sport that's great for recuperation or non-impact strength building. Michelle Garcia, one of the students that participated, said, "Snowshoeing gets our heart rate up by walking around the snowy canyon. It's honestly a blast, it's like having tennis rackets on your feet." Another student, Travis Hawkins, suggested "Make sure you wear sunglasses or you'll go blind!"

Be sure to sign up for Lifetime Activities next year to take advantage of all the great and fun activities that Coach Miller has put together to help you stay active. Miller says, "We do a lot of different 1-2 person activities like biking, pickleball, tennis, and even a relaxation day!"
