MORP-PROM: The mirror to prom

Submitted by kate.searle on

We have a lot of dances at Payson high, some of them are more well- attended than others. I’d like to bring to your attention one of our less popular dances, Morp. Morp is more of a causal dance, almost like a stomp. This dance stands for Prom backwards, so instead of it being a black tie event, you wear jeans and t-shirts. Prom is a boy’s choice dance, so following the "Prom backwards" idea, Morp is a girl’s choice dance. We all come together in our handmade t-shirts and let loose for a couple hours, it’s a blast! Not many people come to this dance and I personally wish more people would. Dances aren’t as fun with only a small group there.

So decide today to go to Morp. The dance is here at the school from 7-10 p.m. in the cafeteria on Saturday March 14th. It is $15 for tickets and the theme this year is "Mardi Gras". Come have a great time
