New PHS Hall of Fame

Big News! Payson High is working on creating a Hall of Fame. We want to recognize PHS alumni who have done amazing things, both while they were in high school and after graduating. There will be three areas for our new Hall of Fame:

• 1) Distinguished Alumni, which will be to honor PHS graduates who have gone on to do great things in the community, nation, and world;
• 2) Veterans, which will be a list of PHS students andfaculty who have served in our nation'smilitary (There is a display case in the school with these names that we are digitizing and adding to this area of the Hall of Fame website);
• 3) Athletics, which will be to honor PHS graduates who accomplished great things athletically while at PHS and beyond.

At Payson High School, our sense of tradition runs deep. By connecting with our past we know who we are now and who we can be. We hope that this three-pronged Hall of Fame will help us to both connect to our past and elevate our vision for a bright future. It represent our highest values of excellence, leadership, service, sportsmanship, and character. The people honored here are exemplars. Our hope is that publically honoring these individuals will inspire the current generation of students to pursue lives of the highest caliber and not set limits on what they can accomplish.
