Payson High School awarded the Energy Star Rating

Submitted by kate.searle on

Being green has a new meaning at Payson High School since being awarded the Energy Star Rating for maintaining an energy efficient building. ENERGY STAR is a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency voluntary program that helps businesses and individuals save money and protect our climate through superior energy efficiency. Basically, Payson High uses 35% less energy and generates 35% fewer greenhouse gas emissions than similar buildings across the nation.

The administration would like to thank teachers and students for helping to shut down computers, audio systems, projectors and other electronics each night and especially over long breaks.

Think green.  Be green. Go Payson.
