“Sing me to Heaven,” first choir concert of this year, held October 27 at Payson High School, was also the debut of PHS’s new choir director, Marilyn Morgan. In addition to sharing their vocal talents several choir members, Rebecca Brimley, Brandon Echols, Aaron Ethridge and Noelle Peck contributed to the concert by playing percussion instruments during three lively numbers James Bond, O Sisuni Mungu and Bonse Aba. Four PHS Dance Company members and Kolton Roberts also contributed with dancing and bass guitar on the James Bond number. The accompaniment was provided by Jessica Christensen and Chelsea Alexander.  Mrs. Morgan was very happy with how the concert went. “It was the perfect start to a great year.  I was very pleased with everyone’s performance.  My husband said it was awesome!” said Morgan.

Mixed Choir, Concert Choir and Chamber Singers all sang with success and they can only get better, so if you missed their first concert, go to their Christmas Concert on December 14th!
