Payson High student Logan Bennett awarded runner-up at Sterling Scholar Awards

Friday,  March 15, 2019 the Sterling Scholar Wasatch Front Region Awards Ceremony was held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Conference Center Little Theatre. At this  prestigious event, Logan Bennett was awarded one of the top two runners up in the Skilled and Technical Sciences Education category. Logan was recognized because of his excellence in Video Production and TV Broadcasting as well as his magnificent example of scholarship, leadership, and citizenship.  Since 1962 the Sterling Scholar Program has been Utah's elite scholarship competition. This year more than 1500 seniors from throughout the state of Utah were awarded, by their school, the coveted title of Sterling Scholar. Participants in the program came from more than 150 public schools operating within five regions across the state. At the event  168 Sterling Scholar finalists from the 79 high schools along the Wasatch Front region competed for the top scholar position within 14 categories. Congratulations Logan for being recognized for your excellence in Skilled and Technical Science education, scholarship, leadership, and citizenship.
