Bryce Dean is an explosive runner, he loves caviar, girls love him, and he is ranked number one in the state for the long jump. The school record for the long jump is 22 feet 4 inches; Bryce jumped 22 feet 9 inches at the Utah County Invitational, but was cut short because the spotter said his hand touched the ground. Bryce, and others say that the spotter was wrong, his hand never hit the ground. Bryce “the jumping bean” Dean will have another chance to break the record on May fifth at the BYU Invitational, the biggest meet of the year, attended by every high school in Utah. “They are doing awesome, our high profile athlete is Bryce Dean he is ranked #1 in the state, and many other athletes are doing well,” said Coach Rockwood. Audrey Moffat has also continued her success in the hundred meter dash, and is trying for a school record herself. The whole track team is working hard to finish the season off right, we have a lot of great athletes on the team.
