On Saturday, October 11, 2014 our Payson High School Band competed in Rocky Mountain Marching Band Invitational at LaVell Edwards Stadium, Brigham Young University. Our band was entered as a 2A school and faced 5 other Utah high schools: Roy, Kearns, Uintah, Copper Hills, and Maple Mountain. The band was judged in six different categories; music general effects, visual general effects, music performance, visual performance, percussion, and color guard. The top bands from each division earned a trophy and awards. In the 2A division, our very own, Payson High School Marching Band finished in second place!
