January 21st-23rd were some very exciting days for the drama students of Payson High School. Utah Theatre Association Conference (held at UVU in Orem) requested a performance of their contemporary play, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare [Abridged]. On Saturday the 23rd of January at 11:15, this rambunctious group of students preformed in front of conference attendees. “I thought UTA was fun, the best part was when Mitch had ‘break down’ and it took six of us to get him off the stage,” said Teal Delli Gatti.          Not only did they get the opportunity to perform but there were tons of workshops to go to that covered everything about Theatre. Everything from Directing to Stage Combat, Fantasy Make-up to writing plays. “The workshops were awesome, I especially the impromptu class,” said Candace Burningham.          The seniors got an amazing opportunity to audition for scholarships while at the conference. Thirty schools from all over the region sent representatives to see hundreds of students audition. “I was stressed and yet excited and so glad to have all of my friends there to support me, I think it went great,” said Autumn Allinson, about the scholarship audition. Well all hope that the students that auditioned receive scholarships for their hard work, oh and good lu- I mean break a leg!
