Our Payson Paysetters dance to the motto “Stand Out,” and what better way to standout than by wearing zebra print? Trying to incorporate zebra print into all of their costumes is not the only way they are preparing to “Stand Out” among the other drill teams.  The drill team is prepared to challenge themselves by doing difficult pieces and pushing them selves to the limit. They are doing very creative pieces and are putting many new ideas into their routines. "We're going to be the best we can be," said Coach Judd.
With the recent tryouts, Emily Bird, Krischelle Hunsaker, Kharyssa Bough, Hayley Renelle, Bailey Biggs, and Abbie  Schoope are ready to “Stand Out” with the Paysetters. "I'm excited for the new girls, they have a great new challenge ahead of them." said Judd.  The new girls are going to learn to dance as one with the other girls and learn the previous routines from earlier in the year. "They have been working hard, and are doing awesome!" said Coach Judd.
The Drill team is preparing for their five competitions which begin in December and go through January. Their goal is, of course, to win region and state. In the  competitions the Paysetters compete in three different  categories: military, dance, and kick. Assistant drill  mistresses, Liz Kittell and Micheala Mecham are excited to choreograph their Military routine. “It’s harder than it looks, but it’s great!” said Michaela Mecham. Coach Judd wants everyone to come to the region competition in January. “We need support” said Drill Coach Ms. Judd.  “The drill team is a great bunch of hardworking girls who are always positive,” said Coach Judd. Payson be ready to support our Paysetters.
