PHS Musical Preview: The Sound of Music

This year’s musical is none other than the Sound of Music. Everybody including Assistant Director Marilyn Morgan, knows that “it’s the musical of all musicals.” With second chances at love, a little war history, and singing nuns, PHS is ready to take on the challenge!

 With stars like Meg Garrett as Maria, and Brayden Hansen as Captain Von Trapp, it’s sure to be a big hit! Other major roles are played by Jazmin Moyano,  Taylor Robertson, Melissa Green, Aaron Arnold, and two foreign exchange students Amelia Birkland and Guilia Pamfili.

“They are all very talented. I’m excited to see what they will put into their role to make their part their own,” said Morgan.

The cast is all working hard to present a great show with rehearsals after school every day.

“The cast members all fit their parts,” agreed Garrett, “It’s exciting!”

The Sound of Music runs November 10-12, and 14 at 7:30 pm, so be sure to come out and support the drama department. This show is something that the students of PHS definitely won’t want to miss!
