On January 22, at the Nebo School District welding competition, Tanner Pyne from Payson was awarded the first place overall winner of the annual event.  He was named the best welder in the district and received a Miller Digital Infinity auto-darkening welding helmet, gloves, glasses and a Carhartt jacket valued over $500.  He also received a scholarship to MTech for $500.  Congratulations to Pyne and the welding program at Payson High School on this phenomenal recognition.
