Swimming Their Way to State

PHS Swim team has done amazing this season! With the region competition right around the corner, these students work hard to qualify for state. Unlike other sports, the only races that matters for state is region. This Year Seth Peterson, Travis Pitcher, Kaden Flippen, Case Kunz, have had a record breaking season, and are going to state.

Swimming can improve endurance, muscle strength, and cardiovascular fitness. The races that Payson swims are: Butterfly, Backstroke, Breaststroke, Freestyle and relay. The longest race is a 400 freestyle relay, which is swam by Seth Peterson, Travis Pitcher, Kaden Flippen and Case Kunz.
