College Access Advisor
Most high schools in our area (including PHS) have a “college access advisor” who works alongside our counseling department. They are recent college graduates who are hired through the University of Utah and then placed in selected high schools around the state. College advisers seek to help more Utah students attend college. Working alongside school staff, advisers assist students with navigating the college admissions process.
State FFA Convention
Payson FFA recently attended the Utah State FFA Convention in Layton, Utah. We had 22 students from 9th to 12 grade attend. Students attended leadership workshops and general convention sessions.
Our chapter received the following awards from the Utah State Fair: Best Floral Exhibit, Best Crop Exhibit, Best Swine Exhibit, and Sweepstakes Winner. We also received the 100% membership & Superior Chapter award from the Utah FFA.
Seniors Bailey Franson, Jaylea Isaac, Makenna Holt all received State FFA degrees.
Congratulations to our FFA chapter!

Women's History Month!
"Every year, March is designated Women's History Month by presidential decree. The month is set aside to honor women's contributions in American history" (National Women's History Museum). Payson High School joins the rest of the nation in celebrating this important month. We recognize the incalculable contributions of women, both sung and unsung, throughout our history.
