Congratulations to our Chamber Choir, the Trouveres, on making it to State! Their state choir festival will be held Tuesday, April 20th. Due to COVID, it will be held virtually. Good luck Trouveres!

Nebo Academy Spring/Summer 2021

Framework days are advertised by subject/grade. Please use the registration links. All teachers are encouraged to attend the sections that are appropriate to their assignment.

All Framework and New Teacher Induction classes will come with a $20/hour stipend; for all other courses, stipends come with the approval from your building principal.

Congratulations to our girls lacrosse team for defeating Salem Hills on Friday, March 26! The final score was 15-2. 

Drama Region 5A Competition Results

Twenty one members of our Lions Drama team, in Individual Events, made it to State Competition April 15-17th.

Our One Act play, FREAKY FRIDAY, placed 2nd in all of our 5A Region and is moving on to compete at State on April 15th or 16th at Salem Hills High.

Hannah Bibler won BEST ACTOR in One Act's.

Our stage crew won BEST SET AND PROPS DESIGN in One Act's.

Christian Durrant won the overall 1st place medal in Comedic Monologues.

Aeva McLauchlin won the over 2nd place medal in Musical Theatre.

CTE Students of the Year

Congratulations to our CTE Students of the Year! Jack Larsen, Davis Carter, Taylor Brotherson, Jake Torgerson, Adda Rigby, Halle Bulkley, and Darian Pieper. These students were nominated by their teachers for their amazing accomplishments in a CTE program.

PHS Welding Teacher Receives National Recognition from the American Welding Society

   Each year the AWS (American Welding Society) sit down as section officers before the District Conference and nominate people within their section for awards. Any individual who promotes the welding industry can be picked. Shaun Black of Nebo School District was nominated as the Utah Section Educator of the Year for the American Welding Society. After the committee reviewed his list of accomplishments as a welding educator and CTE advocate the vote was unanimous!
