Can you trust your internet browser with your passwords? Can people easily discover your passwords? When people store passwords and personal information in their phones, others can pinpoint their location and potentially cause harm. According to Adam Levin, a smartphone expert, “40 percent of smartphone users do not secure their phones with any type of entry password.” If a phone is lost or stolen, anyone can gain access to all information and accounts.
Mrs. Liddle teaches what is known as the Special Ed classes.They are the most unique kids you can ever find. They all support the newspaper and read it every month. They are the newspaper’s number one fans! When they receive a new issue they read it, become familiar with it, and enjoy it. We thought it would be fun to give our number one fans a spotlight. Here is a little bit about each student.
This year for choir tour, the Payson High Concert Choir went to Disneyland. On the way to California, the concert choir first stopped at SUU to do a clinic with a professor there named Kevin Baker. After this, the choir had a choir exchange with Canyon View. (A choir exchange is where both choirs get together and perform for each other, spend some time singing together, and get to meet new people.) After singing for a bit then stopping for lunch, the choir then headed to Las Vegas. That night in Vegas, we had the chance to see the play Newsies at The Smith Center.
The Payson High School Sports Broadcasting program has been working on a PHS Sports Podcast. The students have named it 'Pridecast" In the first episode, Jordan and Preston interview Caide Hunt and Shelby Shurtliff to talk about how the softball season and what to expect the rest of the year. In the second interview, Jordan and Preston interview Connor Atkinson and Easton Smith to expand upon the baseball team and what the future looks like for Payson Baseball. Look for more episodes of the Pridecast later on in the school year.

In a time when students have Google, Spark Notes, Wikipedia, and a handful of other search engines, doing homework has become easier than ever! With colleges and scholarship committees jarring up their acceptance qualifications higher and higher every minute, how can students be expected to have a 4.0 GPA, a 36 on the ACT, work a full time job, do community service, and have time to do homework?
Who doesn’t love money? Everybody wants to be rich. Money is the one thing in this life that can buy food, freedom, land, love, and everything else that’s good in this life. But money doesn’t just get handed to people. People have to work for money, and most of the time that work is tedious and/or hard. But once a year, there is a chance to hit the jackpot with zero risk-The NCAA basketball tournament. If a bracket is filled out 100% correctly, (guess every game right) you have a chance to win the billion dollars.
Not many of us know where the shamrock really came from. Most of us know it is the big symbol for St. Patrick’s Day, and we see it everywhere we go in the month of March. It has been long forgotten by the public where the four leaf clover legend originated from.
