PHS Girls Soccer Finishing Strong

The Lady Lions’ soccer team ended a great season this month with the opportunity to go to the first-round of state in St. George to play Dixie High School.  The girls played very well and their hard work throughout the season got them there.

During the game Payson and Dixie stayed neck and neck the first half of the game at 0-0 then, in the second half, Dixie pulled away and won 4-0.

SEUSSICAL THE MUSICAL!

On November 8th, 9th, 10th, and 12th the show will be playing in the Payson High School auditorium at 7:30 p.m. The ticket prices are $5 for adults and $4 for students.

PHS Cross Country Finished Season at State Meet

“When the chips are down, we rise to the challenge,” said Coach Rockwood.

This one simple statement effectively sums up Payson High’s own Cross Country team. Victorious in regions, the team came back with the first place cup. Nick Hindes, Jordan Bailey, and Dakota Lange made it into the top 10 runners. Coming in close at 11th was Dallin Lowe. Ariane Keele represented the girls well, with 5th place. The regions meet was held October 9th at Spanish Fork.

PHS Volleyball: Get Set to Serve

            PHS volleyball most certainly has conquered! Even though the regular season for Volleyball ended on October 16, that's not stopping the PHS Varsity Volleyball team from going to state on October 26.

            On Monday, September 10, the process for Seussical the Musical began with nerve-wracking auditions. The next day, about 30 selected students arrived at call-backs, working hard to claim their desired role. The director, Mr. Allred, was thrilled that so many talented people wanted to be involved.
