Classroom Spotlight: Mrs.Bridges

Submitted by kate.searle on

Mrs. Bridges’ classes are some of the hardest you will ever take, but it is well worth it. Business English is an eleventh grade class where you learn all about grammar, various paper formats and job skills.  College Writing is the twelfth grade class so far they have written two essays, reviewed all the grammar learned in Business English, finished a novel, and are currently working on a third essay.

Why would students put themselves through so much misery?  Because Mrs. Bridges is an English mastermind.  She may seem strict and a little scary at times, but Mrs. Bridges is the best teacher you could ever have.  She asks only the best out of her students, who try very hard to please her.  Ask anyone who has taken a class from Mrs. Bridges what it is like and they will tell you it is a mixture of emotions of anger, frustration, relief, happiness, thankfulness, and excitement.  Even though the class may feel like absolute torture.  Just remember that Mrs. Bridges is just trying to make your life better.
