New York Times best selling authors Neal Shusterman and Eric Elfman came to Payson High School on Friday April 18, 2023, for an amazing assembly. They discussed their new book "I am the Walrus" and also discussed topics like the writing process, the co-writing process, where their ideas come from , and more. They opened the assembly up for questions and our student body did not disappoint with their outstanding questions. It was a great opportunity for all in attendance. When asked for their advice to aspiring young authors, they said "You've got to just keep writing, read a ton, and never give up!"
And while they were here, they couldn't resist signing some books and visiting the famous Kevin Bacon locker from the Footloose movie (1984).
