Mr. Scribner is a passionate music educator and performer. He graduated from Utah Valley University, and has been awarded many honors including a multi-year scholarship based on vocal performance, and the Performing Arts Award of Merit in Music Education. During his time studying, He has taught piano and voice lessons, and has served as Assistant Conductor for the UVU Men’s Choir, UVU Chamber Choir, and the Wasatch Chorale, performing around the community and out of state, including a performance at Carnegie Hall. He has also made his professional vocal debut in the Noorda Center’s production of Puccini’s La Boheme. He taught for 1 year at South Summit Middle and High School, and is excited to be a part of Payson High School’s amazing staff! Mr. Scribner currently lives with his wife Kelsey and their children in Payson, UT. 

 

Mr. Scribner is an empathetic and encouraging teacher, and loves helping students succeed. Whether the student be brand new to music or has experience, he’s happy to help them refine their skills and help them become well-rounded, thoughtful, and intentional musicians.
