New Hall of Fame Inductee: Coach Donald Fuller

Coach Donald Fuller

Payson High School is pleased to announce the induction of Coach Donald Fuller into the PHS Sports Hall of Fame for his extraordinary contribution to our deep athletics legacy as a coach. 

Coach Fuller graduated from Price High School and later Utah State University, where he played football and tennis. He also earned a Masters of Science Degree from the University of Michigan. Donald coached football and track & field in Idaho, Michigan, and Utah for 40 years. At Payson High School, Coach Fuller taught math and coached the Football and Track & Field teams. Under his leadership, the Lions won the State Championships in Football in 1943 and in Track & Field in 1954. In 1984, Coach Fuller was inducted into the Utah Sports Hall of Fame for Distinguished High School Coaches. He passed away in June of 1995. We will recognize Coach Fuller at the football game on 9/24, where we will present his adult children with a Hall of Fame certificate in his honor.
