We are pleased to announce the induction of Jay Jolley, class of 1970, into the PHS Distinguished Alumni Hall of Fame for his extraordinary accomplishments as a world-renowned ballet dancer and dance educator.

He danced for Ballet West (here in Utah), followed by the New York City Ballet, and finally the fabled Royal Ballet in London, where he was a principal dancer. After a long and accomplished career as a dancer, Mr. Jolley joined the Royal Ballet School, which teaches elite dancers and places them into leading companies across the world, where he eventually became the Assistant Director. In 2021, he was honored to be awarded the highly prestigious Order of the British Empire by the Queen, one of the highest civilian honors in the United Kingdom, ranking only two notches below a knighthood!

We are so proud to present Mr. Jolley with our Distinguished Alumnus award and thank him for representing our school and community with such excellence and grace on the world stage. You can read more about his accomplishments by reading his Hall of Fame plaque hanging in the hallway across from the main office or by reading his online Hall of Fame profile on the school website.
