We are pleased to announce the induction of Monica Peck Barnes, class of 1984, into the PHS Sports Hall of Fame.
Like so many Lion student-athletes, Monica Peck excelled in multiple sports. At PHS she competed in diving, cross-country, track & field, and gymnastics. She was the Utah Diving State Champion her junior year in 1983 and again as a senior in 1984, joining the ranks of other PHS student-athletes who became multiple-time state champions. She also took first place in the Utah Junior Olympics. In college she helped the BYU swimming & diving team win the conference championship title (1985-1986).
We presented Monica at the basketball game on 2/9/2022. We are proud of her accomplishments and we are grateful for her contributions to our proud Lion legacy of excellence in sport.
