On November 15-24, PHS students raised money to help families in our community be able to have Christmas. In previous years, they have been given 2 weeks to raise money. This year however, the students were only given one week. They did not disappoint. PHS raised over 9,000 dollars. That is more than we have ever raised before. We thank all parents, students, and friends everywhere for donating to Penny Wars! Coach Mitchell even ended up shaving half of his beard because we hit our goal.
Now for the rankings. In first place, the seniors took the win with 408,474 points. In second came the juniors at 208,930 points. Third but not least, the sophomores earned 168,373 points. We can’t wait to provide Christmas for several families!
