Our Swim team competed very well at State last weekend. Tallin Kunz took first place in the 100 Breaststroke! This is our first state championship title for swimming our school has ever had!!
Avery Bulkley took 2nd in the 200 freestyle and 3rd in the 500 free. She is a sophomore and on the road to success.
Tallin Kunz, Brandon Judd, Isaac Cowie, and Hyrum Waters set a school record in the 400 relay and also qualified for the championship final in the 200 relay along with Kevin Latham and Brock Lietchty. Relay swimmers in the medley relay were Mason Walton and Preston Carr.
Kaylee Pikus made it back to the 2nd day in her 2 events (50 free and 100 free) as well and did an awesome job! Natalie Whitney, Ember Jensen and Alex Mobbs were the girls swimming fast on the girls relay and were able to come back to the finals on the 2nd day on the 200 free relay!
