Payson High School's Teacher of the Year for 2022-2023 is Mr. Derick Marchant. Mr. Marchant teaches English Language Arts, Humanities, and Latinos in Action. He is also one of our head track & field coaches. When asked about Mr. Marchant's contributions to the school, one colleague said:
“Derick is an exceptionally talented educator. He is instrumental in helping our Latinos in Action program, a popular humanities class, and even a school-wide reading incentive program. Mr. Marchant jumps right in whenever he can and is always looking for ways to improve our students and school community.”
