Welcome to Our New Boys Soccer Coach: Brady Theobald

Brady was born in Provo, Utah and spent his early years in Las Vegas.  He returned to Payson and attended Park View Elementary, Payson Junior and Senior High Schools.  He loves anything sports related.  He played soccer, basketball and football for the Payson Lions.  While playing, he was active in scouting and achieved his Eagle Scout Award.  He loves the outdoors where he hunts, fishes and rides mountain and motor bikes.  In the past few years he has competed in many mountain bike races including the Leadville 100 Mile in Colorado.  Recently, he has raced motor bikes at desert events and has landed himself on the podium.

After graduating from Payson High School, he attended Snow College and played soccer for the Badgers.  He serve a two year mission in Okinawa, Japan for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Upon returning he assisted his mother, Nan Theobald coaching the Lady Lion Soccer Team that qualified to play at state 11 of 12 years.  He juggled coaching while attending UVU and the University of Utah.  He has played soccer for the Utah Pioneers and has coached Nebo United teams for 8 years.  He completed his Nursing Degree and attended Cal State Fullerton through the hospitals of Kaiser Permenente School of Anesthesia to finish a Master’s Degree as a Nurse Anesthetist.  He worked at Mountain View Hospital for 11 years.  He is currently employed at Canyon Crest Surgical in Draper, Utah.

He spends his spare time with his family.  He loves to ride motor bikes and compete as well.  He enjoys watching his children play soccer, basketball and race motorcycles.  

He is married to Tiffany Rhodes Theobald and has three children, Kaisley Christensen (Cole), Bracen and Zandon.  

He looks forward to the opportunity to coach the Payson High School boys soccer team.  “I’m really excited to develop an environment and culture that will unlock and motivate player potential, encourage teamwork and unity.  I hope to help this team perform at their highest level.
