Darrin Wright of Wright Chiropractic was the guest speaker at Payson High School’s Windows on the Workplace, April 20. Wright spoke to the students about the difference between being a medical doctor and a chiropractor and the benefits of the two. Among other things chiropractors learn about nerves and bones in a way a doctor does not. Wright also shared the enjoyment of his profession with the students.
“His big message was that the chiropractic field was a fun and good one to go into,” said Jacob Buckner. “It was a great opportunity to look into a field I wouldn’t usually show interest in and made me reconsider maybe what I want to do in life.”
Wright spoke to the students of the importance of working hard in high school and receiving a higher education. Getting an education is a lot of work he said, but in the end having a stable career you enjoy is worth the effort.
