Congratulations to the following athletes who received medals by placing top 6 in their events at the Utah State Track Championships: Amy Pouliot in the discus and javelin, Tiana Argyle in the 300 meter hurdles (a new school record), and Isaac Birchette in the High Jump.
The following athletes finished in the top 8, which scores points for the team: Adam Marck, Isaac Birchette, Matthew Christensen, Parker Nettelton, Tiana Argyle, Azure Trevino, Alysa Rowley, Kea Hancock, Maris Mortenson, and Amy Pouliot.
One of the most exciting moments of the meet was the thrilling race that almost won the state title for the Lions when the team of Tiana Argyle, Azure Trevino, Kea Hancock, and Alysa Rowley broke the school record for the girls 4X400 meter relay.
