The PHS Paysetters have really shown us what they can do. On December 4th they had their first competition at Davis High School and did amazing.  They placed 2nd in their military and kick routine, and 3rd in dance.  Competing against the reigning state champs, our Paysetters were still able to place 2nd. Great job Drill Team!  On December 11th they competed again at Northridge High School.  Although they didn’t place, they worked really well as a team, and did a great job.  . On January 12 the drill team had their annual Paysetter night.

Coming off a stunning loss to Springville, the Lions looked to regroup against region rival Salem Hills. They started off a little slow, only scoring ten points to Salem’s fifteen. In the second quarter the Lions tied them in scoring, putting up thirteen; going into the half with a five point deficit. The crowd was ready to rally behind the trailing Lions, but it wouldn’t do any good against Salem’s three point rain at the start of the third.
