Badminton begins in February

Do you like badminton or bowling? Do you want to be involved in some awesome lunch time and after school activities? If you do, Mrs. Miller is running some wonderful activities coming this January and February.

The first activity, which is new to Payson High School, is bowling club! Starting January 18, at 3 p.m. you can come to South County Lanes in Payson and bowl for only $2.50 a game. If you can’t make it January 18, it’s alright because Bowling Club will also meet January 25, and February first, eighth, and 15. During Bowling Club you will have the opportunity to gain bowling experience, and get some fantastic bowling tips from Mrs. Miller to improve your game. If you are already confident in your bowling skills, the cheap price makes a great time just to get some good games of bowling in with your friends. So spread the word and get involved, it will be an amazing time!

Bowling not your sport? Well you are in luck, because Mrs. Miller is also hosting a badminton tournament starting in February. It will be a singles (1 v 1) tournament during lunch only on B days. It costs $2 dollars. Pay to the finance office and bring the receipt to Mrs. Miller. The winner of the tournament gets a really cool T-shirt. This is the second badminton tournament Mrs. Miller has hosted and the first tournament was an absolute blast! It gets pretty competitive and is a great experience. Even if you aren’t into being competitive it’s also a fun time and you can improve your badminton game and make new friends.

If you need any additional information you can talk to Mrs. Miller, but both of these activities will be an incredible experiences so make sure to get involved.
