As the Wrestling season begins we watch the strong, young men wrestling for Payson High School prepare for another State Championship.
Practices started Monday November 7 and the competitive matches start the first week of December, so let’s all get pumped to cheer on our amazing wrestling boys and watch them get another State Championship trophy.
“We have great leadership this year and a lot of strong incomers,” said Head Coach Chris Loveless. This year Payson Wrestling has 6 returning state placers and 3 return state champs. Five of the return state placers are also the captains for this season; Mitch Brown, Zac Loveless, Cole Ford, Jedd Mellen, and Kaelen Loveless.
“We are so ready for this season and prepared for another State Championship,” said Taris Schramm. So if that doesn’t show us how great we are going to do this season I don’t know what does. LET’S GO BOYS!
