Congratulations to our October Students of the Month!  Caden Rowley, Naomi Rawlinson, Aaron Neal, Cydnee Burke, Gracie Taylor, Logan Oyler, Beau Stienfeldt, and Jordan Ricks were all nominated by one of their teachers. 

Info for Friday's Football State Playoff Game (10/22)

The Payson Lions will play the Olympus High School Titans on Friday (10/22) in the first round of the state playoffs. These two teams are very close in the state rankings and it should be a great game. If you can attend in person, the game will be played at Olympus High School at 6:00 PM. Tickets must be purchased online:

Mini Student-Teacher Conference

Tuesday, October 19th we will hold one of our Mini Student-Teacher Conferences. We will follow the early out Monday bell schedule this day. This time is set aside for students to conference with their teachers and work on any assignments before the end of the term. Teachers will be in their classrooms from 1:45-4:00 pm. Parents are welcome to attend.

Fall Break!

As a reminder, school will not be held Thursday, October 18 and Friday October, 19 for Fall Break. We welcome students back on Monday, October 22.

New Hall of Fame Inductee: Kent Oborn

Payson High School has inducted the multi-talented All-American athlete Kent Oborn into the Sports Hall of Fame. We recognized him at halftime of the football game on 10/14/2021.

2021 Beyond High School Night

This week is Utah College Application Week! Our school will be holding a "Beyond High School Night" on Wednesday, October 6th from 4:00pm to 7:00 pm in the PHS Courtyard. Everyone in the community is invited. There will be food trucks, games, activities, and more!

Parker Weiss was nominated by Mrs. Argyle. "He works hard in class to get all of his work done, asks questions when he has them and is respectful to all his peers." 

Kyle Stanworth was nominated by Mrs. Redman.

Xander Moon was nominated by Ms. Garff. "I've been impressed with the work he has done so far and the interest he has shown in my class."

Jaesyne Rogers was nominated by Mr. Taylor. "He is always in the auto shop and is wanting to try and work on anything he can."
