PHS DECA club attends Utah Jazz game

Submitted by katie.kelly on

On Tuesday, November 2nd, about 20 students from our school's DECA club were able to attend the Utah Jazz game! Students watched the players warm-up before the game started and even got their photos featured on the big screens in the center of the court. It was an intense game, but the Jazz ended up beating the Sacramento Kings 119-113.

DECA is a great club for any students interested in business or marketing. It encourages the development of business and leadership skills. It's not too late to join. If you are interested, contact Mrs. Kelly.

Payson High School is deeply grateful to those in our community who selflessly serve our country and community in the armed services.  And we recognize the sacrifice that this service also requires of their families and loved ones. On our school website, we maintain a list of all of the PHS graduates or faculty members who have served in the military. To date, this list has over 1,400 names, reaching back over one hundred years to World War 1.
