Comeback season

Submitted by kate.searle on

Payson wrestling is a very successful and very strict tradition among those that are involved with this brutal sport. The physical and emotional exhaustion carries on throughout the months of the season. The commitment and the sacrifice given by the wrestlers is tremendous. Everyday is another opportunity to improve and get better individually and as a team, it is no secret that wrestling is a challenging sport, and especially at Payson. Last wrestling season the state title was just within their reach, but fell short and lost the state title to Wasatch. The coaches at Payson high have high expectations for this next year's wrestling team with their eyes set upon another state championship for the 2017-18 season.

Coach Jeb clark, of the Payson wrestling team, has started to hold pre-season practices on tuesdays and wednesdays from 7:00 to 8:30 pm in preparation for the new season that will be starting in November.
