The Ugly Sweater Dance is this Saturday

Hey boys, do you wish there was a boys’ choice informal dance? Did another guy ask the girl you had your eye on to Homecoming? Do you want a dance that’s still fun but won’t cost a fortune? Do you love to wear ugly sweaters and whip out your 80’s dance moves? Well, we have just the thing for you. This year, Payson High School is putting a new spin on an old tradition. PTSA is sponsoring a brand-new dance: The Ugly Sweater Dance.

Girls Tennis Wins Region

For the first time in forever, the Payson High Lady Lions Tennis Team has won region.  The tennis team was also undefeated throughout the season.  The tennis team couldn’t have done it without support from their Coaches Karen Thomas and Michelle Snow.  The tennis team also had support from team managers Wyatt and Braxton Judd, who are on the boys tennis team.

Cross Country Takes Home the Victory

On Tuesday, October 14th the Cross Country teams traveled to North Sanpete High School for the region championship race. Projected times showed that the girls would win with room to spare and the boys would have a close fight for the title with Richfield. Both teams raced their hardest and there were many top finishers from our team. Our very own Dakota Lange took first place, making this year his first region champion title. He says “Region was a good day. It was fun to see the girls win.
