Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month!

Submitted by david.rockwood on

Aloha! May is Asian and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, (sometimes called AAPI Month). During this important month, we recognize the great "historical and cultural contributions of individuals and groups of Asian and Pacific Islander descent to the United States" (history.com). These contributions include the fields of science, medicine, literature, art, sports, government, and many others. Those of AAPI heritage "have long played an essential role in writing the American story.
