After graduating from Payson High, Bart attended [college], graduating in [year] with a bachelors in mathematics education. [other accomplishments in college?] Later, Mr. Peery earned a master’s degree in educational leadership from [university].

Bart started teaching and coaching at Payson High School in 1985. In the classroom and in the sports arena, Bart had a tremendous impact on the lives of thousands of Payson’s youth. He taught math for 17 years. In 2002, Peery became an assistant principal at PHS, where he continued to influence youth for the better with his positivity and relentless determination to help students succeed. He later served as head principal of Payson High School and Salem Hills High School. In 2015, Bart was inducted into the Nebo Hall of Fame. And in 2017, he was selected as Utah’s Principal of the Year.
