All coaches must be first aid certified every two years. Any reputable program is acceptable, whether in-person or online. (The CPR certification portion of the training must be an in-person class.) Nebo District usually holds an in-person class in June. The local fire department may also facilitate a class. Some online options include the following:

• American Safety and Health Institute

• National Safety Council
